The Amazing Customer Experience (ACE) Team at SpareFoot, which operates the country’s largest online marketplace for self-storage, has won a bronze award from the 2014 Stevie Awards for Sales & Customer Service.

SpareFoot’s was one of eight finalists for the Front-Line Customer Service Team of the Year award in the “other service industries” category. Other finalists in this category included Wyndham Vacation Ownership and the United States Equestrian Federation.

“The members of the ACE Team are absolutely thrilled to be named a bronze winner in this year’s Stevie Awards and are honored to see our names among those of companies and organizations that we respect and admire,” said Josh Lipton, leader of SpareFoot’s ACE Team. “More important than that is the validation it gives our efforts to deliver the type of experience to our customers that we would wish for ourselves.”

In the preliminary round of the Stevie Awards, nearly 130 judges around the world picked the finalists from among more than 1,500 nominations. After final voting by more than 100 judges, all of the finalists received gold, silver or bronze Stevie Awards. The winners were announced Feb. 21 at a banquet in Las Vegas.
