Another Attic Self Storage will be hosting a charity storage unit auction on Friday at its Tradewinds Airport, Coulter Street, Paramount Boulevard, Bell Street and Soncy Road locations. Proceeds from the auction will be donated to participating local nonprofit organizations.
Another Attic will dedicate a storage unit to the local charity prior to the auction.
The storage unit will be used as a collection point for donated goods in the name of the charity. Another Attic will schedule and host the public auction.
Chuck Clark, a local auctioneer, will sell the contents of the unit as one lot to the highest bidder. The proceeds of the sale will be donated directly to the charity.
Charity partners include Habitat for Humanity, Mission Amarillo, 7 Star Therapeutic Riding Center, Cub Scouts Pack 701, ACTS Community, Faith City Mission and America Supports You Texas. Goods to be sold include building materials and supplies, new and used office furniture, and appliances.
“We’re excited to provide our facilities and staff to support these outstanding nonprofit organizations. We think it is a great way for our company to help meet the needs of the local community,” said owner Paul Fields.
The public auction will begin at 9 a.m. at Another Attic’s Tradewinds Airport location, 1500 S.E. 34th Ave., and will progress in succession to other Another Attic locations that morning.

Another Attic Self Storage plans to host the Charity Auction event regularly in the future.
Each event will be scheduled with the standard public auction of storage units to maximize the exposure of the charity storage units with the storage unit auction buyers.
