bssgAfter the amazing success of the first self-storage trade show and expo in Sao Paulo last year ASBRASS (The Association Of Brazilian Self-Storage Operators) announces that the new show scheduled for 2014 will be even grander. Continued growth in all countries throughout the region demonstrates the strong interest of investors and operators. Join owners and developers at the 2nd Latin America Self Storage Trade Show and Education November 12 & 13, 2014 in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

The two-day event will be held, like last year, at Secovi-SP’s headquarters in Sao Paulo, which features a modern convention center. Secovi-SP (the Sao Paulo State Housing Syndicate) has been in existence since 1946 and is recognized as the home to the Brazilian real estate industry. The Syndicate houses several key operating sectors of the real estate production and service chain in Brazil.

In addition to the traditional guest speakers, this year’s show will feature two morning sessions devoted to an Operational Forum where current operators will meet and exchange questions and solutions to common local issues. Also included during these special sessions will be one on one interaction with the sponsoring vendors. Speeches from top experts will focus on those areas of special interest to the Latin Operators and Investors. The Trade Show will display vendors who are involved in all aspects of the self-storage business (security, building materials, insurance, marketing, etc.). Special early bird discounts are available up until September 30, 2014.

ASBRASS is proud to have many of last year’s sponsors supporting this event. Janus International, PTI Security Systems, USC, JR Marto and SiteLink Software.

Peter Nemiroff, President of Universal Storage Containers, a Platinum Sponsor of this year and last year’s show, said, “With the free headsets provided at the Expo that translated the different speaker’s language into many different languages, it was fascinating to hear from experts in the Latin America self-storage industry what were the things that worked and didn’t work. The turnout was very impressive and the ability to network with hundreds of leaders in the self-storage Latin America community was a great benefit.”
