Former Top Publishing Executive Inks Deal for First Zippy Shell Mobile Self-Storage Franchises in New York State

Zippy Shell USA, LLC, a mobile self-storage company utilizing a modern concept, today announced that a former COO & CFO of a major international publish company, Edward Volini has purchased franchise rights to Long Island markets in Nassau County and Suffolk County. Zippy Shell of Long Island will be the first Zippy Shell franchise in New York State and in the Northeast United States. Zippy Shell currently has 16 independent mobile self-storage franchise owners operating in 34 United States markets. The Zippy Shell system is an intelligent and simple self-storage solution for residential and business customers. The Zippy Shell system allows for a storage container to be delivered to a customer in a street registered vehicle which provides much greater flexibility than other mobile storage solutions. “The moving and self-storage industry is extremely fragmented, creating great opportunities for a quality concept like the Zippy Shell system has to thrive,” said Volini. “The concept of providing consumers with a highly convenient service at an affordable price makes for a winning strategy. It was clear to me that this opportunity made a lot of sense. Zippy Shell Mobile Self Storage combines a great business model with a very strong management team.” “Ed has such a solid, proven background and impressive business acumen, we are very excited to have him as the owner in Long Island,” said Rick Del Sontro, President of Zippy Shell USA, LLC. “The Long Island moving and storage business is very competitive and we very confident that Ed will build a strong brand and that Zippy Shell of Long Island will quickly become a significant storage provider in the market.” The opening date for Zippy Shell of Long Island is currently slated for early July. “Summer is a peak time for storage and with the housing market beginning to gain momentum, the timing couldn’t be better, stated Del Sontro. “We are expecting great things from Ed”]]>
