Lok’nStore Annouces Willen Hospice as its Charity of the Year

Lok’nStore in Milton Keynes, has announced Willen Hospice as its ‘Charity of the Year’. The self-storage company on Etheridge Avenue in Milton Keynes will support the charity from July 2012 to June 2013 through various fundraising activities involving their staff. To officially confirm this new partnership Lesley Macauley, Centre Manager of Lok’nStore Milton Keynes, presented Lynn O’Gorman of Willen Hospice with a certificate. Lesley also spent time with Lynn finding out about how local fundraising from companies like Lok’nStore is critical to the charity’s existence by ensuring the hospice raises over £4.3 million each year. She said: “We are really delighted to be forming this partnership between Willen Hospice and Lok’nStore. “With many of our customers residing in the local area, it is important for us to support the community around our centre. “To kick start our relationship with Willen Hospice, we will make a £25 donation every time the charity directs a customer to Lok’nStore and they make a reservation.” About Lok’nStore Lok’nStore is one of the leading self storage companies in the in the fast growing UK market. As well as its core self-storage business, Lok’nStore offers its customers a number of additional services such as insurance and vehicle rental and it also sells boxes and other packaging.
