PhoneSmart, the self storage call center, announces a fund raising drive to benefit Kure-it, a funding organization dedicated to cancer research. PhoneSmart will run its fund raising contest at the Self Storage Association conference in Atlanta in March and at the Inside Self Storage World expo in Las Vegas in April. PhoneSmart will donate ten dollars for every person who comes to the PhoneSmart booth at either event wearing open toed shoes, sandals or flip flops. #toesforakure is an act of solidarity with Kure-it founder Barry Hoeven. One of the effects of his cancer has been that closed toed shoes are very uncomfortable to wear. So Barry Hoeven always wears sandals or flip-flops.

PhoneSmart is an off-site sales service that serves self storage properties all across the Americas with call center and sales training services. It has created more than one million two hundred thousand leads and reservations for its clients.

Kure It Cancer Research provides funding for innovative research projects focused on kidney cancer and other underfunded cancers. The funds raised through Kure It directly support groundbreaking research at leading cancer centers. Kure It has raised over 2.5 million for cancer research.
