    Charleston SC, March 08, 2016— Self Storage Development Group (SSDG) CEO, Albert Heyward announced the construction of Universal Storage Solutions on Clements Ferry Rd, located at 2076 Wambaw Creek Dr., Charleston, SC. This premier property of SSDG will have more than 540 climate-controlled storage units, as well as 20 high-end, month-to-month office space rentals when completed in August of 2016.

    SSDG will invest millions of dollars through local construction trades to renovate and retrofit an existing building at the location to its high standards, including new mechanical systems, elevators, luxury reception area and executive office rentals.  It will also include cutting edge energy efficiency technologies including a lighting system that combines direct solar with LED lighting and an integrated rooftop solar system which will provide 80% of its energy needs, making it the most green self-storage facility in South Carolina.  Storage features will include restricted access, security fencing with keypad access gate and 24/7 remote surveillance monitoring.  Office space rentals will include 20 luxury offices with break room and conference facilities and generous parking.
