Weissmann Zucker Euster Morochnik P.C. (“WZEM”) is pleased to announce that Vince Toenjes has joined the firm in its real estate and corporate practice. Prior to joining WZEM, Vince served as General Counsel and Corporate Secretary at LifeStorage, an industry-leading developer, and operator of self-storage facilities throughout the United States. While at LifeStorage, he helped assemble a portfolio of nearly 100 properties and assisted in the closing of a $1.3B sale of the company to a major self-storage REIT in 2016.

Vince also previously served as Deputy General Counsel, Assistant Corporate Secretary and Vice President of Real Estate for Coldwater Creek Inc., a publicly-traded entity that operated over 350 stores in prime retail and outlet locations throughout the United States. Before going in-house, Vince was a shareholder at Gorrell Giles Gollata, PC, and Moye White, LLP, two Denver, Colorado based firms. Vince has in-depth experience in the areas of real estate, land use, construction, commercial leasing, corporate governance, investor relations, employment law, finance, mergers and acquisitions and bankruptcy. His practice involves a full range of corporate counseling. He is experienced in a wide variety of industries including commercial and residential real estate development, self-storage, retail and restaurants. He has advised numerous companies with a national presence, including Dick’s Sporting Goods, Vineyard Vines and Quizno’s. Vince is admitted to practice in Colorado. He received his J.D. in 1994 from the University of Denver School of Law, an M.S. in Finance from the University of Houston and a B.S. from the University of Colorado.
