The company also showed support for a team member who’s battling breast cancer by hosting a companywide “Pink Out” in which employees donned pink clothing. “While SAM-managed stores have raised money in previous years to benefit breast-cancer awareness and research, this year it really resonated with each of us as we witnessed the courage and perseverance of one of our SAM property managers battling breast cancer,” said Melissa Stiles, chief marketing officer.
Based in York, Pennsylvania, SAM operates more than 500 facilities in multiple states. It employs 830-plus people, the release stated
