PRESENTER INFORMATION: Carol Mixon-Krendl is the owner of SkilCheck Services, Inc., a mystery shopping, development, sales training, auditing and self-storage consulting firm. Before merging with StorQuest, she managed over 26 storage locations in the West. She also is a partner of Waikele Self Storage in Hawaii. Carol began her career as a trainer for National Self Storage in 1984 and developed the curriculum for the first training school in the self-storage industry. She has written over 100 articles for industry publications including the Mini-Storage Messenger, and is the author of 12 industry-related manuals. Carol has been active in the Self Storage Association for over 20 years and served on the Board of Directors. She also served on the board of the California Self Storage Association and is a current board member of the Arizona Self-Storage Association.
